Translation of an Invitation letter from one of the biggest exhibitionist in India to a huge furniture manufacturer in China.

CaseStudy5

In the intricate dance of international business relations, Ewan Business Solutions found itself at the intersection of diplomacy and linguistics—a translation project involving an invitation letter from one of the biggest exhibitionists in India to a prominent furniture manufacturer in China. This task wasn’t just about conveying information; it was a delicate dance of ensuring cultural harmony and professional etiquette in business correspondence.

Exhibitions executers have always the highest level of responsibility on their shoulder and one of them is inviting foreign manufacturer for their expo. The invitation letter consisted of a furniture manufacturer based in China which were to be invited for this expo. Now the problem was that letter was written in English and the language used in the letter if translated literally could seem a bit harsh as some direct words were used which could mean something completely different in Chinese.

We brought up someone who not only had expertise in Chinese but also adequate experience in translating letters of this level. Just one mistake could turn the tables upside down so we had to make sure that the language used is not just translated from English but also used in a correct form which doesn’t sound in any way unprofessional or too harsh but sticks to the point and conveys the message.

The customer was very happy as he got a prompt response from the client and the translated letter was read carefully by the manufacturer. We delivered the document in the given timeline which didn’t shift their momentum in worrying about the manufacturer and delaying their process of inviting other guests for the show.
